So I post often..once a year at least! I've moved again, and this time quite far away. I only lived with Tara for about 6 months, then a friend of hers moved in an took care of her and got the whole place just spiffy, so I wasn't needed there and at the time I wanted more internet usage and it was better for me to move back home, so I did.
I now live in Carbondale Illinois, I moved here on March 8th, almost a year to the day I moved to Tara's. I thought I'd just give a snippet of what's going on with me, I love the church here, I'm currently working at Wal-mart as an overnight cashier, I'm actively looking for other employment but I am grateful for this job. I need sleep right now since I have to be at work at 10 tonight, so I'll write more later, in a year perhaps.

I'm moving. Just me not the family. And no, we didn't have a falling out. And no I'm not rebelling, my parents have given me their full blessing in this endeavor. Plus, I'm only moving 5 minutes away and only for around 6 months to a year.
The pluses in this are everywhere! Julianna will get my room while I'm out, and because of God's amazing timing, Uncle Jerry might get Julianna's room during that time. (<--This is not definite yet.)
A friend of mine has cancer for the third time now, and the radiation is just knocking her out. It is really tiring to have the power of 1000 suns in both the femur and the rib for 15 mins a day, 5 days a week and then come home and do all the house work.
Enter me.
I'll be doing the normal everyday things that you and I take for granted such as sweeping, doing the dishes, the laundry, grocery shopping, picking up the house and walking the dog. I think it'll be fun to get to do all of that and in such a cute house and for such a nice person.
Plus I've never lived away from home for any kind of permanent stretch of time, I love my family and I'm glad that up till now I haven't had to live away from them. I'll miss them terribly, but since I'm 5 minutes away I figure I'll see them quite often, which suites me just fine.
So that is a quick update as to what is going on with me.
Ta!

Snow.
My computer is humming at me, I'm thinking it doesn't like having to rip a cd. Ah well it will get over it reasonably well. It better, I have a stack of em coming up. Wow the whole thing is vibrating, seriously, that can't be a good thing.

Ok actual posting, not me going on about the oddities of my laptop. It snowed last night, and I usually love snow, but last night I really loved the snow. I had to work and it really does pain me to have to work on Sundays, I'll bust it out the rest of the week so that I won't have to work on Sunday if possible. However, it fell to me to be the closer last night, so I sucked it up and went.
After about an hour at work, we had customers coming in and telling us we might want to think about closing for the night, due to the freezing rain. Freezing rain I do not love, just so we're clear. Freezing rain is not snow, or rain, both of which I love and like. Freezing rain is evil. It actually makes driving hard thanks to the wretched black ice. More evil stuff.
I got a call from our higher ups a little later asking about the weather, and by this time it had started snowing. Not a lot, but the ground was covered in about a 1/2-1 inch of snow. He told me to keep an eye on it and he would check back in 30.
Boy did we wait for that call, in the time we were waiting we got everything done possible to get us out of there quickly. One person had 1hr to drive and one about 30mins, neither wanted to do that in several inches of snow and ice. I like driving in the snow, but I have only 15 mins of driving in it, not double or three times that.

Time for a new cd, out comes Andrew Bird and in goes Emotionalism.
I have laundry to do, so I'm ending this.

So I haven't posted in here in a looong while, anyway, a quick update. I now work for Starbucks and have for almost a year. I just got promoted, and tomorrow I start my shift supervisor training, I'm excited about it, I'm not sure how long training is but I'd guess a week. Dad recently bought a plane to teach Luke, Erin and me to fly. That has been fun we went up once and he let me help in the take off and fly a bit. But I banked turn too sharply and pulled some g's and starting feeling sick so dad took over completely, and I just sat and tried to not think about how sick I was feeling. <----I just went to post something and found that I had written all of that and never finished it, I think that was about two to three weeks ago now. Oops.

Anyway, I am now a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks, I'm enjoying it, but I'm now the one to go to should anything go wrong, and things go wrong a lot, especially during the holidays. I'm basically in charge of everything that goes on during my shift, I'm responsible for everyone and everything. If something goes wrong, I'm responsible to make sure it gets fixed because I'm now reporting to the boos lady (who happens to be one of the coolest bosses ever, just so you know.)

Anyway thats a quick update, just so you know I'm still alive.

You Are 18% Feminist

You are definitely not a feminist. In fact, you are every feminist's worst nightmare.
You believe that women belong in the kitchen.... barefoot and pregnant.

I did this after seeing it on Rita's journal.

Some might wonder what I have been up to of late. If you are in this grouping of "some," you are about to find out. Others may not really care what I have been up to, and for those others... well they can just skip over this entry.

Last Monday I came home from visiting Jake&Rita and Jubilee. I spent a week with them and had a wonderful time. The reason for the trip all out-of-the-blue, was that Rita was sick and Jake wanted someone to hold Jubilee and make sure Rita rested and didn't do too much. So I said I was willing to sacrifice a bit of my time to go and hold my niece and be bossy to Rita. It was supposed to be work, but I just enjoyed holding da baby, and getting to visit with Jake&Rita.

Since I was there from Monday to Monday, I was able to go to church with them. I love their church, and all the people there. I went to Jake's in-law's house for lunch and found out I am bad at ping-pong. I lost to Jake and Chris at ping-pong several times, but I got within 2 points when Jake was playing left-handed.

After church I went to the Akin's house to visit and play Halo. I had fun chatting with Mrs. Akin, Abby, Susanna and Clair. Clair was playing one her brother's handheld video games and sort of mocking it while we were chatting, it was a lot of fun to listen to.
Abby made sourdough bread and beerbread the night before, so we snacked on those while chatting, and they were delicious. I may have had enough to actually call it supper, it was just that good.

We played a game called Fusion Frenzy until the Matt and Caleb got back from Men's Forum. Then we played Halo, and it was so much fun. We played for about an hour to an hour and a half. Jake was actually patient and waited around a while for us to finish. Jake took off of work early to drive me to St. Louis, Missouri to fly home. Jake&Rita dropped me off at the airport and went to visit Granny.

I have been at the Littlefield's pretty much since I got back. Emma is doing better and eating and drinking, so she doesn't have to go on IVs anymore. If you are wondering and I haven't said, Emma is 8 and has cancer, and I have been babysitting for her family since before she was born. So that has been rather hard lately. But we have been praying and will continue to do so and would love it if anyone else would as well.

Last night I had a sleepover with Erin and Hannah Littlefield, I took Hannah to Pirates of the Caribbean 3 at 10:00 PM and then she spent the night. We were supposed to go with a big group and my family to an 8:40 showing, but Hannah was in a play and did not get done until 9:00. So Hannah and I just had a girls night. It was fun. She's only 14, but loves to read and is more mature than most kids her age. She would rather hang out with Erin and me and talk about books than with younger kids. Most of the kids she knows think she's weird for reading so much.

Well, that about brings us up to date. I'll write more if I remember to. Hope it wasn't too boring, I know I rambled at parts, I guess the "others" were smart to skip this post. TTFN!

Emma Littlefield's cancer is back, please pray for her and her family. She is 8 years old and is the second youngest of six kids. They found out about a week ago, I don't know many of details right now but the whole family needs prayer.
